ROTATING SHIFT CALENDAR

Build your rotating shift calendar

A repeating rotation should make your life predictable—not force you to count squares on a paper calendar. Generate the entire year from one confirmed workday.

What is a rotating shift schedule?

A rotating schedule repeats a sequence of working days and days off. Common examples include 2-2-3, 4 on 4 off, DuPont, 24 on / 48 off and 48 on / 96 off.

Some rotations also change between day and night shifts. Shift & Pay maps workdays and rest days; always confirm crew or shift-time changes with your employer.

Choose the right starting date

The starting date anchors the entire calculation. Use a date you know is the first working day in the repeating cycle. If your calendar appears offset, the start date—not the rotation—is usually the reason.

For an unusual schedule, choose Create a custom rotation and enter the number of consecutive workdays and days off.

Plan more than workdays

A useful schedule should answer more than whether you work. Shift & Pay combines the yearly calendar with payday markers, a quick date checker, live workday countdowns and a gross-pay estimator.
